Horizon Academy offers numerous club and intramural sports and recreational activities. Eighty percent of our students are involved in one or more sport activities.

State of the art libraries

Active Living Centre.

The 100,000 square-foot Active Living Centre is UM'a hub for health, wellness and physical activity. The facility provides the community with a state-of-the-art fitness venue and research spaces to help Manitobans create healthier lifestyles.


Frank Kennedy Centre

The Frank Kennedy Centre is home to the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management. It houses three gymnasiums, racquetball and squash courts, and meeting rooms and classrooms.

University Stadium

University Stadium is a multi-purpose outdoor track and field facility with a large natural grass infield. The bowl shape of this venue provides wind protection for athletes and spectators.

This Horizon Academy started from 1990 by Lord Kamsiyonna jnr. Horizon Academy is an innovative business and technology-oriented institution located in the heart of vibrant Canada. The academy offers a range of career-focused programs including the Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication, Associate of Arts and Master of Business Administration. Courses are offered at all campuses and online too. Offering courses online brings flexibility to education, allowing those who may not have otherwise had the opportunity to gain respected qualifications.
